In the past we found the home buying process to be highly stressful and overwhelming. We had been so discouraged we had discontinued our search. This time around though, we had Oscar, and with his guidance things just felt much easier. When we first started working with him he laid out the whole process for us in a very easy to understand way — creating confidence in knowing what we were getting ourselves into. Every step of the way he helped guide us in whatever direction we wanted to move towards. The best thing about Oscar was that he was good at showing us our options and explaining strategies we could use during the process - all while never pressuring us. It always felt in our control of when and where we wanted to meet up, how we wanted to proceed with our offers, and who we wanted to work with in regards to our lender, inspectors, and/or contractors. He was a great resource for when we didn’t know what to do or if we didn’t understand something. His knowledge and experience gave us ideas on how things typically go, but also showed us that things can happen in other ways too. The personalized experience he gave us made it so that we always felt comfortable to reach out and ask questions - which is saying a lot, because we can both be pretty shy. We really can’t thank him enough for making our first home dreams become a reality. It’s rare to find an agent who can provide such thorough guidance while making you feel completely in control of the process. From the time we initially talked to Oscar to when we received the keys to our home time flew by like it was only a day. That's only possible when you have an agent that is in control and is taking care of everything without you having to worry. Oscar went above and beyond for us. I really would like to express my gratitude and thanks to him for literally hand-holding me through this process. He is a one-stop shop, he has been doing this for years-he truly loves what he does and you can tell.  I had initial phone calls with quite a few agents to see how I felt about getting the process started, he was not pushy or annoyed with my MANY questions as some other were. He gladly shared his information guide with me (which is super helpful btw) and although most other agents wouldn't even continue a conversation unless I had pre-qualified for a loan-he did! I'm sure he would tell you that my situation was very unique to say the least but through it all he was prompt, cool, and collected. He always had more information than I asked and was willing to find out the info if he didn't.  I will absolutely go through Oscar for anything home related and will be using him again in the future. Oscar was instrumental in guiding us through the process. He not only explained everything in a way that was easy to understand (from working with the mortgage lender to making the offer), but he was also always available to answer our questions. After months of looking and getting outbid, we finally had an offer accepted in our ideal city of Calabasas. There were multiple offers on the property and Oscar successfully helped us negotiate the deal. We couldn't have done it without him!

He was able to make things happen fast and get things done right before restrictions that would have resulted in us losing out on getting this dream home.  It is actually a miracle what Oscar and our lender was able to accomplish during this covid crisis.  Not only is Oscar efficient but he is also very friendly and easy to communicate with.  He is now our dear friend and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

We immediately felt good about having him show us other homes and after seeing four or five homes I ask him if he wanted to see our condo to list it. Great decision! Oscar was always on top of all the details, returning phone calls or emails super quick if not just answering the phone in the first place. He walked us through every step of the way. His advice on staging, photos and setting a price paid off too. We had three offers after just three weekdays on the market. By that Friday we had sent out counter offers and by the following Monday we had accepted an offer. Oscar also went above and beyond the day before the appraisal. He called me that evening to check in and see if I was ready. When I told him I was having difficulty finishing bringing something up to code his reaction was "I'll be right over". He explained all of the technical terms to me through every step, responded to my texts and calls at any hour of the day, and made sure I got the best deal possible. Oscar, however, did much more than this and much more than a typical agent. I moved to a new state before completing the sale of my home. A lot still needed to be done and Oscar was able to change multiple broken outlets, fix the air conditioner, install a new sink and smoke detectors. He got multiple quotes for each project that needed to be done and went way beyond his job description to make my life easier 2,000 miles away.
